Creeping Charlie
Pilea nummularifolia
Easy to grow. Should be pinched regularly to help keep its bushy shape. Challenge: possible sensitivity to damage from chemical sprays. Do not overwater. Prefers moderately moist soil and warm temperatures.

Dieffenbachia 'Camille'
Deiffenbachia maculata 'Camille', also known as dumbcane. Very easy to grow. Bright yellow variegation on the leaves. Bushy variety with few problems. Challenges: overwatering, stem rot, red spider mites, and mealybugs. Prefers moderately dry soil and warm temperatures.

Ficus benjamina, braided


Ficus repens
Also called Creeping Fig.
Comes in a variegated variety.

Description - This versatile evergreen vine, native to China, Japan and Australia starts out with tiny, thin, slightly crinkled, heart-shaped leaves which will develop into large, leathery, oblong leaves. Left to climb and spread, these fast growing vines can produce large oblong fruit.

Neanthe Bella Palm
Chameadora elegans 'Bella'
Very easy to grow with some special attention. May flower with reddish-orange blossoms. Challenges: yellowing leaves, brown tips or root rot due to poor watering. Prefers moderately moist soil and warm temperatures.

Water - Keep on the dry side. Over watering can cause rotting.
Light - Outdoors - Partial Shade to Full Shade. Indoors - Bright indirect light near a window.
Temperatures - Prefers warm conditions 65 - 75 degrees, but tolerates 40 - 100 degrees.
Fertilize about once a month to keep the lush green appearance.


Piggyback Plant
Tolmiea menziesii

This unique plant is called "piggyback" because it forms new plantlets at the back base of the older leaves. Easy to grow, the Piggyback Plant prefers well-drained soil (to keep the leaves dark green) and indirect sun. Challenges: red spider mites and mealybugs.

Wandering Jew, Creme
Tradescantia sp. Easy to grow. Regular pinching helps keep the plant bushy and branching. Deep green to creme leaves. Challenges: few. Pinch out any stems with poor color, such as all green.

Zebrina
Also called Wandering Jew, this house plant is easy to grow. Regular pinching helps keep the plant bushy and branching. Deep green to purple leaves. In low light, the green color dominates; in bright light the purple increases. Challenges: few. Pinch out any stems with poor color, such as all green or all white.
